Michelle Boyle (Principal Coach)

Michelle is a Montessori guide, parent, and school leader.  Called to teaching for its potential to increase opportunity, she taught at KIPP in DC and Newark before discovering Montessori.  For the last decade, she has been working to make Montessori education more accessible to families and children.  She co-founded the first public Montessori charter school in a turnaround district in Memphis, which has repeatedly won recognition for high academic achievement.  She has also coached and developed Montessori leaders at the National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector and piloted public Montessori teacher preparation programming in Texas.

Michelle is grateful for the opportunities she’s received through public school and deeply values knowledge-rich education, sustainability, and impact.  She lives with her husband and four children in San Antonio, and loves to be outdoors, grow fruit trees, and bake to share.
