Sasha Medina (Program Director)
Sasha Medina has 20 years of experience working in public education. She was a middle school ELA teacher as well as a third grade classroom teacher for several years. Sasha spent five years as the NY Program Director of the national nonprofit, Peace First, where she served as a leadership coach, teacher trainer and community organizer focused on school culture and community activism. Sasha was the founding principal of PS 536, a Pre-K through 5th grade elementary school located in the Bronx, NY. Under Sasha’s leadership for seven years, PS 536 school quickly became one of the highest performing schools in the district.
