Aaronthomas Green (Program Director)
Aaronthomas (aka AT) Green is a Program Director/Planning Coach with School Empowerment Network where he provides support and coaching for aspiring school leaders as they plan & launch innovative new schools committed to improving educational outcomes for all students. A Dallas based educator, AT is committed to improving educational outcomes for underserved populations with a special focus on Black males—both as students and adult leaders. He started in education in south Los Angeles in 2005. In 2009, as a Teach with Africa Fellow, AT designed & coordinated professional development, curriculum, and instructional model design for educators in Cape Town, South Africa. Later that year, AT returned statewide serving as an assistant principal before relocating to Houston, TX eventually becoming principal of Polaris Academy for Boys. During his time as principal, AT led a team of teachers & leaders to transform the campus—improving the educational outcomes of all students and earning recognition from the state of Texas. Prior to joining the SEN team, AT was a Program Officer at Teaching Trust where he served as an ambassador, architect, and advisor for relationships with large urban school districts in North Texas.
