Cameron Berube (Program Director)

Cameron Berube is a Program Director and Leadership Coach with School Empowerment Network. Before joining SEN, Cameron was the Technology Curriculum Coordinator for Warwick Public Schools. In this role, she oversaw personalized learning implementation, mathematics, and educational technology for all learners across the district. Prior to that role, Cameron Served as the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning for Providence Public Schools where she was responsible for development of the districtwide strategic plan, implementation of districtwide instructional rounds, development of interim assessments and data driven instructional protocols, streamlined federal budget process by allocating additional funds to schools, and increased access to culturally responsive materials and pedagogical practices. Before joining PPSD, Cameron served as an Educator Quality Specialist for the Rhode Island Department of Education where she oversaw the research and design of a revised Educator Preparation Program Approval Process and Index in collaboration with all of the ed prep providers in the state. Cameron has also served in the role of Founding Principal of a NYC middle school, middle school math coach, and high school math teacher. Cameron holds a Masters in Educational Administration from Pace University and a Bachelors with Honors in Math and Cultural Anthropology from Tulane University. She is a graduate of New Leaders for New Schools Program and the Public Education Leadership Project at Harvard University.
